Community Anderson received the Baby-Friendly Award given by UNICEF and the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2005 for their efforts in the education and promotion of breastfeeding. We are the only hospital in the county to have received this prestigious recognition.
We offer state-of the art Labor-Delivery-Recovery-Postpartum-Newborn suites. Once you settle in to your room, feel free to relax, because you will be there for the remainder of your stay.
Our nursing staff are cross-trained in every aspect of mother’s and baby’s care.

Security
Community Anderson’s HUGS security system uses video surveillance in the Obstetrics areas 24 hours a day, seven days a week. These monitors can be viewed in the OB nurses' station, as well as the Security office. The HUGS system is the only dedicated pediatric security system in the county, covering all young children, not just newborns.
