Who We Are
History
Community Clinical Research Center (CCRC) was established at the beginning of 2005. CCRC is a department of Community Hospital Anderson, a 207-bed acute care facility located in Anderson, Ind. The hospital is affiliated with Community Health Network, which has more than 60 sites of care throughout central Indiana, and is ranked among the top 40 integrated health care networks in the nation.
CCRC provides clinical research services to a wide range of therapeutic areas including, but not limited to, Anesthesia, Cardiology, Family Medicine, Gastroenterology, Oncology, Neurology, Orthopedics, and Urology. Below is a list of our physicians and staff conducting research.

CCRC Team
The background and know-how of the Community Clinical Research Center (CCRC) Team are critical factors supporting its success. The CCRC Team comprises of five staff with combined experiences in the Business Administration, Human Resources, Healthcare, Legal Nurse Consulting and Clinical Research Industries
Beth Allen, MBA, BSN, RN: Vice President of Patient Care Services Beth Allen is a member of the Senior Leadership Team of Community Hospital Anderson and reports to the CEO. In her position, she is responsible for the departments of nursing, quality resources, case management, pastoral care, and the operations of the medical staff office. She plays a key role in strategic planning for the Hospital. She is responsible for ensuring the hospital operations are in compliance with current applicable Federal, State, and Local standards. Beth has enjoyed a 25-year career in healthcare operations and administration and has developed a strong leadership team who understands and effectively manages the dynamics of today's healthcare system. She holds a bachelor's degree in nursing and a master's degree in business administration. She is responsible for providing the overall managerial direction to conceive, plan, lead, and supervise all CCRC activities.
Brandie Preston, MBA, MSW: Director of Clinical Research Brandie Preston is an experienced entrepreneur with 8 years of management experience in clinical settings. She has been a department director at Community Hospital Anderson for four years. She has a master's degree in Business Administration and Social Work Administration as well as a School of Public and Environmental Affairs' certification in Non-Profit Management. In addition, she has had five years of research experience with one research publication. She is responsible for directing all facets of operations and business administration of the clinical research site as well as providing clinical research study coordination as needed.
Crystal Bingham, LPN Senior Clinical Research Coordinator Crystal has been in the healthcare field since 1997 starting out as a CNA. In 2001 Crystal became a LPN and worked in a ventilator unit in California. In 2004 Crystal moved to Indiana and came to Community Hospital and worked as a resource nurse at Community North, East, and South. As a resource nurse Crystal worked in many different fields such as ICU, PCU, Medical Surgical Unit, Renal Oncology, Rehab, and Hospice. Crystal now works for Community Anderson as a Clinical Research Coordinator and is responsible for coordinating trials for our sponsors.
