Splash Class
According to several scientific studies water exercise has been found to:
- Significantly improve flexibility
- Allow you to exercise with less stress to your heart and joints
- Decrease your perception of pain
- Improve muscle strength and body awareness
- Develop social ties and friendships
- Improve your functional activities
About the Facility:
- Entire pool is 4 feet deep
- Pool temperature is 92°
- There are stairs with a handrail to enter/exit the pool
- Locker rooms with showers are available
About the Program:
- Program sessions will be Monday through Friday, 1 to 2 p.m. and Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 10 to 11 a.m.
- Sessions will be limited to 12-15 participants on a first come first serve basis
- Program cost is $3.00 per individual session or sold in 7 visit sessions for $20 or 17 visits sessions for $50.
Program consists of:
- Warm-up and water walking
- Gentle stretching and balance activities
- Range of motion and strengthening exercises
- Aerobic type activity
- Cool down
What you need:
- Swim suit or t-shirt/shorts, towel, water shoes (optional)
- Lock (If you wish to lock personal items in a locker)
What you need to do the first day:
- Purchase a punch card
- Sign liability waiver (provided)
