Community Northview Care Center is a skilled care facility that specializes in short term rehabilitation and long term care.
Beautifully located on the grounds of Community Anderson's campus, this facility offers short and long term care. A beautiful gazebo complements the manicured grounds on our enclosed courtyard, which can be viewed from our spacious rooms.
Enjoy a private Medicare suite with your own full bath, flat screen television, small refrigerator, table and chairs to make your stay a comfortable one for you and your visitors. We also encourage residents to bring their own belongings from home to help make their stay more comfortable. Familiar items such as family photos, your own bedspread or dresser and other keepsakes make recovering from an illness or surgery much easier. Semi-private accommodations are available for long term care needs.

Our therapy gym is fully staffed with licensed professional and caring physical, occupational and speech therapists. They are dedicated to helping you achieve your therapy goals. Northview is Medicare/Medicaid certified and is also able to accept private pay, private insurance and long term care insurance.
Services provided at Northview
Short term rehabilitation
After a surgery or hospitalization, patients may require additional rehabilitation and nursing services in order to achieve a fuller recovery and safer transition home.
Physical, occupational and speech therapy
Our goal is to return each person home safely, stronger and with the skills needed to continue life the way you want to live it. Specialized in adult rehabilitation, our therapy team focuses on individual success. We utilize proven rehab technology including exercise equipment, electrical stimulation, ultrasound and diathermy to speed up recovery and improve healing.
During this form of rehabilitation therapy, patients come to Northview just for their therapy sessions.
Long term care
Appropriate for those who can no longer be cared for at home due to illness, injury, frailty or other limitations, our facility offers ongoing nursing and rehabilitation in a caring and home like environment. We address our residents’ social, emotional, physical and spiritual needs.
These services are available for seniors who need only a temporary (30 days or less) stay at our facility. This may be while a caregiver is on vacation or taking a needed break from care giving. Your loved one will be cared for 24 hours a day and enjoy many social opportunities through our activities programs during the short stay with us. Therapy services are also available to seniors during a respite stay.
Adult day services
Day care services for senior who are available. This program offers care, assistance and social opportunities for seniors, while their families and caregivers work outside the home or even just run errands.
For those seniors facing end of life issues, our hospice service focuses on symptom management rather than curative care. Provided by an outside agency of the resident and family's choice, Northview staff work closely with them to meet the physical, social and spiritual needs of the family.
Cheryl Carter was in excruciating pain and needed knee replacement surgery. Her orthopedic surgeon, David Graybill of Central Indiana Orthopedics performed her surgery at Community Hospital Anderson. After being hospitalized for three days, she wasn’t quite ready to come home. Her physician suggested she transfer to one of the new orthopedic suites at Community Northview Care Center. Although she was initially apprehensive, she made excellent progress and was thrilled with her experience.
"I moved in there, and I loved it!" Cheryl said. "I was treated like I was everyone’s only patient. I would recommend Community, Dr. Graybill and Northview to anyone."
