Healthy Living Outpatient Services
Community Hospital Anderson's dietitians offer a variety of services and programs to both inpatients and outpatients. Using their extensive knowledge and resources, dietitians can design individualized nutrition plans for children and adults, based on your personal medical history and current goals. Specifically, they can assist those whose goals include weight management, managing gastrointestinal disease, food allergies, pregnancy, high blood pressure , high cholesterol and more.
We Can! is a free program designed for children and their caregivers to learn more about making healthy choices, increasing physical activity and reducing screen time in an interactive classroom setting. During the class, kids are physically active with a nurse practitioner while discovering the importance of exercise and healthy eating while their parents are busy learning about ways to make the family healthier.
When: This 6-week class meets on Tuesdays from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., beginning March 2.

Weight management class
"Eight Weeks to a Healthier You" offers an individualized meal plan and guide, dining out booklet, virtual grocery store tour, weigh-ins, one-on-one consultations as needed with a registered dietitian and more. Cost is $75.
When: Classes are scheduled periodically.
Where: Diabetes Care Center Classroom, located in the lower level of the 1601 Building, on Community Anderson's campus

Weight management support group
This free group offers help and support for those who are seeking to reach or maintain a healthy weight and a healthy lifestyle.
When: the second Monday of each month from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
