Foundation
The Community Hospital Anderson Foundation was established in 1990 by a group of far-sighted individuals to receive, hold and distribute financial support for the benefit of Community Hospital. As a private, not-for-profit organization, the foundation is an important part of the care-giving team.
Guidance
The foundation board of directors consists of 12 influential Madison County residents. Board members voluntarily contribute their influence, wisdom and monetary resources to areas of need within the hospital. The board members’ advocacy for the hospital and the Foundation ensures the continual flow of gifts and helps keep the community informed about the mission and needs of the hospital.
Disbursements
Many departments and programs of the hospital have benefited significantly from monetary gifts to the Foundation.
Individuals or corporations desiring to support the hospital’s mission can designate gifts to any department or program at Community Hospital Anderson. Gifts may be given in honor or in memory of a special person, group, event or institution.
Foundation personnel are always available to assist in the process of directing gifts as desired by a donor.
Contributions
There are many opportunities to impact specific areas or programs in the hospitals. Major gifts can work to benefit both the donor and Community Hospital.
Gifts of cash, securities, real estate or other instruments can be transferred to the Foundation using strategies that produce present and future benefits. Foundation representatives will work with an individual’s financial advisor so gifts can be directed to fill needs and give the donor a great sense of satisfaction.
Generous private financial support has been an important part of Community Hospital Anderson’s growth. As the health care needs of the Central Indiana community continue to expand and change, the need for gifts will also increase.
