April 2011: Community Hospital Anderson is a recipient of two VHA Central PEAK Awards for Performance Excellence.
The first PEAK Award is for sustained performance excellence in the Patient Safety-Patient Falls category and the second PEAK Award is for sustained performance excellence in the Patient Experience category on the three measures collected:
Award winners have been selected from among all VHA Central members reporting data in the VHA Central Performance Improvement Initiative and using the NDNQI definitions for Patient Safety and the HCAHPS measures for the Patient Experience category.
